I saw this auction the other day and since I can’t afford to pick it up myself, thought I’d share it with anyone out there that might be looking for a nice Klira. For those not familiar with Klira Basses, they were made in Germany and are very similar to Hofners – supposedly made in the same town/village, although I can’t personally verify that information.
I’d also like to point out to anyone thinking of selling an instrument on eBay – PICTURES ARE WORTH ONE MILLION BAJILLION WORDS/DOLLARS/EUROS. I know from personal experience that clear, hi-resolution images can have a significant impact on the number of bids and the final value of the auction. The bigger and clearer, the higher the bids will be. This auction is a perfect example of this. See below for some smaller pics, and check out the auction here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270075210543.
